After working 22 years in classical French Restaurants, Chef/Owner Richard Galcik brings a Bistronomy to the West Village. Sullivan Bistro successfully combines quality cuisine, expertly trained Chefs, and a warm welcome.
Richard's impressive resume includes some New York classics such as Le Cygne, Arcadia,
La Topaire, Restaurant Raphael, and most recently was the Chef/Owner of Park Bistro. Richard is also a 1988 graduate of the French Culinary Institute, which is located right here in N.Y.C.
For many years,Richard was the host/chef of the Hamptons "Chefs and Champagne" gala,where he was able to show off his skills with some of New York's finest Chefs, including the infamous Julia Child.
Richard was also the recipient of the Culinary Award of Excellence from the Suffolk County Community College. The menu on his newest venture is affordable, eclectic American Comfort food, with a French twist. Dont be fooled though.Sophisticated palates will not be alienated here.With an abundance of fresh, seasonal,organic meats and vegetables available,the nightly specials are sure to please.
